A few days ago while I was writing I got stuck on one of the Boygroups I used to listen to in the past, Westlife.
Understandably I was thinking about Boyzone, too, because it was them who introduced us to Westlife. They were special guests at a Boyzone concert, calling themselves still Eastside or something like it. Kieran and Nikki came walking through the waiting crowds giving autographs at another Boyzone concert. I remember that clearly, because I found Kieran's autograph when I sorted papers, collections and pictures yesterday.
Anyway, I thought about listening to my old Boyzone CDs at well, but got stuck on Westlife. What a really sad coincidence that Stephen dies only 2 days later.
This was and will always be one of my favorite songs of them. I just broke down in tears listening to it.
Then I watched the news a few minutes ago and it made me so angry. They were of course talking about Stephen, spreading roumors like a disease about drugs, excessive alcohol abuse and kinky sex games. They don't know him at all, the way he was or lived and still they gossip as if they isn't more important things to life. For example how the people who really knew him feel right now.
The rest of the boys arrived at the airport of Mallorca in the report and I can't get Mikey's stricken face with depressed tears out of my head. They all looked devastated.
Westlife wrote a song on their new album, which fits all of it perfectly.
You don't knowSorry for not using a cut.
